Effect of Medical Cooperative Health Education Combined Behavioral Intervention on COPD Patients

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of medical cooperative health education combined behavioral intervention on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods:A total of 116 cases of COPD patients hospitalized in the respiratory department by randomly divided into the control group and the study group with 58 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing care,while the study group were treated with the medical cooperative health education combined behavioral intervention on the basis of routine nursing care.Two groups were followed up regularly after discharge,patients were assessed by COPD test(CAT)scale to evaluate the quality of life and the treatment(oxygen)compliance.12 months smoking cessation rate,readmission rate and hospitalization time were compared between two groups.Results:The study group's good compliance rate was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).After discharge,two groups' symptoms and activity abilities and disease affect scores were significantly lower than those on admission(P<0.05),and the study group decreased significantly than those of the control group(P<0.05).The study group's smoking cessation rate was higher than that in the control group,and the study group's readmission rate was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The hospitalized time during 12 months was significantly shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The medical cooperative health education combined behavioral intervention can improve patients' cognition and compliance,and change the bad life behavior,so as to reduce the recurrence and improve the quality of life of patients.
