Effect of Psychological Nursing Intervention on Negative Emotion and Blood Pressure of Elderly Patients with Chronic Hypertension

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of psychological nursing on negative mood and blood pressure of elderly patients with chronic hypertension.Methods:A total of 88 elderly chronic hypertension patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 44 cases in each group.Both of two groups received antihypertensive drug treatment,and the control group recieved the routine nursing intervention,while the observation group received the psychological nursing intervention on the basis of the control group.The changes of blood pressure and mood before and after intervention in two groups were compared,and the satisfaction rate of two groups were compared.Results:The blood pressure and mood of two groups were significantly better than those before intervention,and the observation group's was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the total satisfaction rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:By adopting a series of psychological nursing,the negative emotions and blood pressure of elderly patients with chronic hypertension can be effectively alleviated,so as to improve their satisfaction.
