Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of cognitive behavior intervention in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods:A total of 80 cases with CHF were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group with 40 cases in each group. The control group receive the routine cardiology nursing care, while the intervention group received CHF education, medication guidance, lifestyle intervention, psychological counseling and guidance etc. Before the intervention and 3 months after the intervention(MORISKY medication adherence scale),the changes of medication compliance, cardiac function(left ventricular ejection fraction-LVEF,left ventricular end diastolic diameter-LVEDD,left ventricular end systolic diameter-LVESD and 6 min walking test)and negative emotions(self-rating anxiety scale-SAS suppression self-rating depression scale-SDS)were compared between two groups, and the readmission rate of patents were recorded 3 months after the intervention. Results:The intervention group's medication compliance,LVEF and 6min walk test were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).LVEDD,LVESD,SDS and SAS of the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.01,P<0.05).the intervention group's readmission rate 3 months after the intervention was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Cognitive behavioral intervention can significantly improve the medication compliance, improve the cardiac function and negative emotion of CHF patients, and reduce the readmission rate.
