Effect of Comprehensive Systematic Nursing Intervention on Self-management Ability and Compliance Behavior of Patients in T2DM Special Wards

Abstract:Objective:To explore effects of comprehensive nursing intervention on self-management ability and compliance behavior of patients in type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)special wards.Methods:A total of 208 patients with T2DM were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,each with 104 cases.The control group received the routine nursing intervention,while the observation group used comprehensive systematic nursing intervention.At the time of discharge,3 months after discharge and 6 months after discharge,the blood glucose level,self-management ability and compliance behaviors of two groups were evaluated.Results After intervention,the observation group's blood glucose level,self-management ability and compliance behaviors were significanlty better than those in the control group (P<0.01) at the time of discharge,3 months after discharge and 6 months after discharge.Conclusion:Comprehensive systematic nursing intervention can significantly improve patients with T2DM special wards blood glucose level,self-management ability and compliance behavior.
