Application of Active Nursing System in Elderly Patients with Impaired Glucose Tolerance

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effects of active nursing system in elderly patients with impaired glucose tolerance.Methods:42 patients with impaired glucose tolerance were selected as the control group from August to December in 2014,and another 42 cases with impaired glucose tolerance were selected as the observation group from January to April.The control group received IGT routine nursing care,while the observation group received the active nursing intervention.Two groups nursing effects were compared.Results:After the intervention,the fasting blood glucose,postprandial 2 h blood glucose,the incidence of diabetes,the incidence of coronary heart disease and the incidence of stroke in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion:The use of active nursing system for elderly patients with impaired glucose tolerance intervention,can significantly improve the patients' blood glucose control effect.
