Effects of community Based Self-management Model on Health Status, Psychological Status and Self-efficacy of Patients with Myocardial Infarction

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effects of community based self-management model on health status,psychological status and selfefficacy of patients with myocardial infarction Methods:According to the random number table method,a total of 80 patients in a community hospital after myocardial infarction were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group,each with 40 cases.the control group was treated with routine health education,while the experimental group received the self-management intervention.The health status,psychological status and self-efficacy of two groups were compared by using the multidimensional assessment scale,the anxiety and depression scale and the self efficacy scale.Results:The experimental group's health status scores of 5 dimensions including physical activity,safety,emotional reaction,diet and drug awareness were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05).Anxiety and depression scores were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05),self-efficacy scores were significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.01).Conclusion 12 weeks of community-based self-management model intervention can significantly improve the health status of patients with myocardial infarction,reduce their psychological burden,and improve their self-efficacy.
