Effects of Psychological and Behavioral Intervention on Self Management of School Aged Children with Bronchial Asthma
Abstract:Objective:To explore the effects of psychological and behavioral intervention on self management of children with bronchial asthma in school age.Methods:A total of 82 cases of 6 ~ 14 years old children with bronchial asthma were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group with 42 cases in each group.Two groups use the same treatment method,and the control group received conventional care,while the intervention group received psychological intervention.Psychological cognitive levels,the recurrence rate and the curative effects were compared between two groups.Results:The psychological and cognitive level of intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P < 0.01),and the rate of relapse and total effective rate of the observation group was better than those of the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion:Psychological behavior intervention can effectively improve the self-management level of school-age children with bronchial asthma,can significantly enhance the curative effect,reduce recurrence.
