Effects of the Nursing Mode of Knowledge and Belief on the Psychological Status and Quality of Life of Patients with Breast Cancer after Operation

Abstract:Objective:To explore the influence of the nursing mode of knowledge and belief on the psychological status and quality of life of patients with breast cancer after operation .Methods:A total of 58 patients with modified radical mastectomy under general anesthesia were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 29 cases in each group .The control group was treated with the routine nursing measure after breast canser surgery ,while the observation group was given the KAP mode for nursing intervention was trea-ted with the nursing intervention based on the model of knowledge and belief .Using Zung Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) scores,Self-rating Depression Scale (SAS) scores,quality of life scale (SF-36) assess the psychological status and quality of life in two groups .Re-sults:In the observation group,the SDS and SAS scores were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).The physiolog-ical function,social function,physical function,physical pain,mental health,emotional function,vitality,and overall health scores of the ob-servation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The nursing mode of knowledge and belief can improve the psychological state of patients with breast cancer ,promote the formation of good health behaviors ,improve the quality of life of patients with breast cancer .
