The Effects of Continuity Nursing Care on Self-care Ability and Quality of Life of Patients with Liver Cirrhosis

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effects of continuity nursing on self -care ability and quality of life of patients with liver cirrhosis . Methods:A total of 96 patients with cirrhosis were randomly divided into the study group and the control group with 48 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing intervention measures ,while the research group was given the continuity of nursing care based on routine nursing care .Two groups′self-care ability and quality of life scores at discharge ,6 months after discharge and 1 year af-ter discharge were compared .Results:6 months and 1 year after discharge ,the scores of self-care ability and quality of life in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The continuity on patients with liver cirrhosis can promote the patients′self-care ability to improve ,and help improve the quality of life of patients .
