The Effects of Targeted Nursing Intervention on Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients with Constipation

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effects of targeted nursing intervention on patients with constipation in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD)patients.Methods:According to the method of random number ,a total of 126 cases of MHD patients with constipation were random-ly divided into the observation group and the control group with 63 cases in each group .The control group was given the conventional nurs-ing care,while the observation group was given targeted nursing measures .Quality of life and the treatment effects of defecation before and after treatment were compared between two groups .Results:Two groups′defecation condition and quality of life after treatment is signifi-cantly better than that before treatment (P<0.05),and the observation group′s defecation condition and quality of life after treatment is significantly better than that of control group (P<0.05).The total efficiency of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Targeted nursing intervention can effectively improve the symptoms of constipation in patients with MHD,so as to improve the quality of life of patients and treatment effect .
