The Effects of Different Lying Position in 6 h after Operation on Patients with Thoracic and Lumbar Spine Surgery
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effects of different lying position in 6 h after operation on the patients with thoracic and lumbar spine surgery .Methods:A total of 180 patients of thoracic lumbar spine surgery within 6 h were randomly divided into A ,B,C three groups , 60 cases in each group.Group A lay down without pillow ,and group B lay down with taking 90°vertical side, while group C lay down with taking 45°slope side. Then three groups′comfort, drainage and other conditions were compared .Results:There was no statistical signifi-cance between three groups in comfort scores after operation 2 h(P>0.05).Postoperative 4 h comfort scores of group B and C were signif-icantly higher than that of group A (P<0.01).Postoperative 6 h comfort scores of group B and C were significantly higher than group A (P<0.05,P<0.01),and group C was higher than group B (P<0.05).The drainage volume of group B and C were significantly more than group A(P<0.05)within 6 h after operation, and there was no significant difference in drainage volume between the three groups before extubation(P>0.05).Conclusion:The lateral position is more comfortable and safe than the supine position without pillow for pos -terior thoracic lumbar patients within 6 h after operation ,while the slope lateral position is more comfortable than the vertical lateral posi-tion.Therefore,the clinical thoracic posterior lumbar surgery patients should adopt the slope lateral position .
