Effect of extended nursing intervention based on family systematic therapy on the discharged elderly patients with hip replacement

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of the extended nursing intervention based on family systematic therapy on the discharged elderly patients with hip replacement.Methods:104 discharged elderly patients with hip replacement were randomly divided into the control group(n=53)and the observation group(n=51).The patients in the control group were given conventional extended nursing care and the extended nursing intervention based on family systematic therapy was provided for the patients in the observation group,the nursing effect was compared between the two groups.Results:There were statistically significant differences in the comparison of the scores of family function and social support and qualification rate of self-care skill of the patients between the two groups(P<0.05);the Barthel index and Harris scores were higher in the observation group than the control group after 6-month intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion:The ex-tended nursing intervention based on family systematic therapy on the discharged elderly patients with hip replacement can improve the family function,social support level and self-care skills of the patients and rehabilitation effect.
