Application of holistic nursing care in perioperative intraperitoneal perfusion chemotherapy for patients with gastrointestinal cancer

Abstract：To explore the application method and effect of holistic nursing care in perioperative intraperitoneal perfusion chemotherapy for patients with gastrointestinal cancer.Methods:60 patients with gastrointestinal cancer were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(30 cases in each group) ,the routine nursing measures was taken in the control group and the holistic nursing care was implemented in the observation group,the patients′satisfaction with nursing care,the incidence of adverse reactions and the effective rate of treatment were compared between the two groups.Results:The satisfaction rate of the patients with nursing care was 93.00%in the observation group and significantly higher than 73.33%in the control group(P<0.05);the incidence of adverse reactions in the observa-tion group was 53.33%and significantly lower than 76.67%in the control group(P<0.05);the effective rate of treatment was 66.67%in the observation group and significantly higher than 40.00%in the control group( P<0.05) .Conclusion:Application of holistic nursing care in perioperative intraperitoneal perfusion chemotherapy for patients with gastrointestinal cancer can not only improve the patients′sat-isfaction,but effectively reduce the incidence of adverse reactions and promote the rehabilitation of patients.
