Application of family-involved nursing model in the treatment of children with hysteria

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of family -involved nursing model in the treatment of children with hysteria .Methods:80 children with hysteria were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (40 cases in each group).The children in the control group were given conventional treatment and nursing care ;the family-involved nursing model was additionally implemented in the observation group,the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS),self-rating depression scale (SDS) and the symptom checklist (SCL-90) were used to evaluate the satisfaction of children and their families with nursing care .Results:The scores of SAS ,SDS and SCL-90 were lower after the intervention than those before the intervention in the two groups (P<0.05);the scores of SAS,SDS and SCL -90 were lower in the observation group than the control group after the intervention (P<0.05);the satisfaction of children and their families with nursing care was better in the observation group than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion: The effect of family-involved nursing model is good in the treatment of children with hysteria and it can improve the satisfaction of children and their families with nursing care .
