Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of psychological nursing intervention on anxiety of patients with cancer of liver during con -trast-enhanced CT scan .Methods:74 patients receiving contrast -enhanced CT scan examination in our hospital were randomly divided into the study group and the control group (37 cases in each group). The routine nursing care was given to the patients in the control group and the psychological nursing intervention was additionally implemented in the study group .The self-rating anxiety scale ( SAS) was used to evaluate and compare the anxiety of the patients ,incidence of adverse reactions ,examination compliance and satisfaction of the patients with nursing care in the two groups before and after the contrast -enhanced CT scan examination .Results: The SAS scores were signifi-cantly lower in the study group than the control group after the examination for 30 minutes (P<0.01);the incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower in the study group than the control group ( P<0.01);the examination compliance was significantly better in the study group than the control group (P<0.05);the patient’s satisfaction with nursing care was significantly higher in the study group than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion: Implementation of psychological nursing intervention for patients undergoing contrast -en-hanced CT scan examination can help to relive the patient ’ s anxiety state ,reduce the incidence of adverse reactions and improve their ex-amination compliance and satisfaction with nursing care .
