Effect of high quality nursing service on patients with clavicle fracture

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of high quality nursing service on patients with clavicle fracture.Methods:40 patients with clavicle fracture treated with clavicular hook fixation (from July 2013 to June 2014) in our hospital were taken as the observation group;other 40 patients with the same treatment(from July 2012 to June 2013) were taken as the control group.The routine nursing care was given to the patients in the control group and the high quality nursing service was additionally provided for the patients in the observation group,the effect of nursing care was compared between the two groups.Results:The satisfaction rate of the patients with nursing care was higher in the observation group than the control group (P ＜ 0.01);The Constant shoulder score was lower in the observation group than the control group after 3 and 6 months of operation(P ＜0.01);the score of SF-36 of quality of life was higher in the observation group than the control group after 6 months of operation (P ＜ 0.05,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion:Implementation of high quality nursing service for patients with clavicle fracture surgery can improve satisfaction of the patients with nursing care and promote the recovery of shoulder joint function so as to improve the quality of life of the patients.
