Abstract：Objective:To analyze the current status of knowledge,attitude and behavior(KAP)of protection of occupational low back pain(OLBP)in nursing staff in a certain hospital at the level of grade III - A in order to provide basis for the protection of OLBP. Meth-ods:A self - designed questionnaire was used to investigate and analyze the demographic data and the status of KAP of 445 nurses. Re-sults:The case rate of OLBP of the nursing staff was correlated with age,length of service,department and BMI(P ﹤ 0. 05);the difference in the comparison of the scores of KAP was statistically significant between the nursing staff with OLBP and without OLBP(P ﹤ 0. 05);the comparison of the scores of related knowledge of OLBP and attitude was significantly different between the nursing staff with different length of service and professional titles(P ﹤ 0. 05);the scores of knowledge and beliefs and the scores of attitude and behavior were positively cor-related(P ﹤ 0. 01). Conclusion:The prevalence rate of OLBP among nurses is high,and it is significant to actively carry out related train-ing,especially scientific operation training on the basis of enhancing the protection awareness.
