Application of CNP in nursing care of patients with invasive mechanical ventilation

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of clinical nursing pathway(CNP)in nursing care of patients with invasive me-chanical ventilation. Methods:180 patients receiving invasive mechanical ventilation were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group(90 cases in each group). The patients in the control group received routine nursing care and CNP was adopted in the ob-servation group,the observed indicators of mechanical ventilation,the incidence of complications and nursing quality were compared be-tween the two groups. Results:There was statistically significant difference in the comparison of the observed indicators of mechanical venti-lation between the two groups(P ﹤ 0. 05);the incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the quality of nursing care was higher than that in the control group(P ﹤ 0. 01). Conclusion:CNP applied to patients with invasive me-chanical ventilation can shorten the time of mechanical ventilation and ICU stay and it can reduce complications and improve the quality of nursing care as well.
