Effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on female patients with depressive disorder

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on female patients with depressive disorder. Methods:69 female patients with depressive disorder were divided into the control group(n = 34)and the observation group(n = 35)according to the nursing methods. The patients in both groups were treated with the same methods,the routine nursing care was taken in the control group and the comprehensive nursing intervention was additionally implemented in the observation group,the scores of HAMD,SCL - 90, SF - 36 and the treatment compliance of the patients were compared between the two groups before and after nursing care. Results:The scores of HAMD and SCL - 90 were lower after nursing care than those before nursing care in the two groups and the scores were lower in the observation group than that the control group after nursing care(P ﹤ 0. 05);the SF - 36 score was higher after nursing care than that before nursing care in the two groups and the score was higher in the observation group than the control group after nursing care(P ﹤0. 05);the total compliance rate of the patients was higher in the observation group than the control group(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion:The comprehensive nursing intervention based on the conventional antidepressant treatment can effectively alleviate the depression status of fe-male patients so as to improve their quality of life and treatment compliance.
