lnfluence of TCM body constitution nursing on diabetic patients with periodontitis

Abstract：Objective:To explore the TCM body constitution nursing on therapeutic effect and inflammatory factors in diabetic patients with periodontitis. Methods:120 diabetic patients with periodontitis were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (60 cases in each group). The routine nursing care was taken in the control group and the TCM body constitution nursing was implemented in the observation group,the clinical curative effect and the change of inflammatory factor level were compared between the two groups be-fore and after the intervention. Results:The total effective rate was higher in the observation group than the control group(P ﹤ 0. 05);the clinical attachment level(CAL),plaque index(PLI),probing bleeding index(BI),periodontal probing depth(PD)were lower and less af-ter the intervention than those before the intervention in the observation group,and they were lower in the observation group than the control group after the intervention(P ﹤ 0. 05);the inflammatory factor level was lower after the intervention than that before the intervention in the observation group,and that was lower in the observation group than the control group after the intervention(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion:Imple-mentation of TCM body constitution nursing can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of diabetic patients with periodontitis and reduce the level of inflammation.
