A survey on the types of relationship between student nurses and patients,influencing factors and the effect of clinical practice in Yunnan prov-ince
Abstract：Objective:To investigate the types of relationship between student nurses and patients and analyze the influencing factors and the effect of clinical practice in Yunnan province. Methods:381 hospitalized patients in Yunnan province were investigated by sampling method. Results:In the patients of this group,37 patients perceived the relationship between student nurses and patients as the mechanistic relationship,94 patients perceived it as the authoritative one and 250 patients regarded it as the facilitative one. The influencing factors in-cluded nurse's personal and professional qualities,patient's characteristics and atmosphere of cooperation;the nurse's self - confidence and self - esteem enhancement,patient's health promoting and improvement of self - care,the comparison between them was significantly differ-ent(P ﹤ 0. 05);the scores of authoritative and authoritative relationship were higher than the mechanistic one(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion:Most hospitalized patients regard the relationship between student nurses and patients as the facilitative relationship and the nurse's personal and professional qualities and patient's personal quality has influence on the relationship between student nurses and patients.
