Observation on the application effect of unprotected midwifery nursing in the promotion of the natural childbirth of primiparas

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the application effect of unprotected midwifery nursing in the promotion of the natural childbirth of primiparas. Methods:120 primiparas were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group(60 primiparas in each group). The protected midwifery nursing was taken in the control group and the unprotected midwifery nursing was adopted in the observa-tion group,the lateral perineal resection rate,perineal trauma and pain,birth process,postpartum complications and neonatal asphyxia rate were compared between the two groups. Results:The lateral perineal resection rate was significantly lower and perineal injury and postpar-tum perineal pain was significantly less and milder in the observation group than the control group(P < 0. 05);the incidence of postpartum urinary retention was significantly lower in observation group than the control group(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:The unprotected midwifery nursing can reduce lateral perineal resection rate and the injury of perineum,it has no obvious influence on the birth process and can pro-mote natural delivery.
