Application of CNP in health education for patients with the first - episode schizophrenia

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of clinical nursing path(CNP)in health education for patients with the first -episode schizophrenia. Methods:80 patients with the first - episode schizophrenia were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group(40 cases in each group). The patients in both groups were given routine nursing care when they received the treatment with antipsychotic drug;in addition,CNP was applied to health education in the intervention group,the scores of ADL and the awareness rate of health knowledge of the patients,satisfaction rate of nursing care and medication compliance were compared between the two groups. Re-sults:At the end of the 6th week after the intervention,the scores of ADL and the awareness rate of health knowledge of the patients,satis-faction rate of nursing care and medication compliance were higher and better in the intervention group than those in the control group(P< 0. 05). Conclusion:CNP applied to health education to patients with the first - episode schizophrenia can increase and improve the ADL scores,awareness rate of health knowledge,satisfaction rate of nursing care and medication compliance of the patients.
