Application of comprehensive nursing intervention in children with severe pneumonia

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in children with severe pneumonia. Meth-ods:60 children with severe pneumonia were divided into the control group and the observation group(30 cases in each group)according to the sequence of odd and even numbers at inclusion. The children in the control group were given routine nursing care and the children in the observation group were given comprehensive nursing intervention,the recovery time of clinical signs of the children,hospitalization time and satisfaction of the families of the children with nursing care were compared between the two groups. Results:There were statistically significant differences in the comparison of the recovery time of clinical signs of the children and average hospitalization time between the two groups(P ﹤ 0. 05);the comparison of arterial oxygen saturation(SaO2 ),arterial oxygen partial pressure(PaO2 ),the total effective rate and satisfaction of the families of the children with nursing care were significantly different between the two groups(P ﹤ 0. 05). Con-clusion:The effect of comprehensive nursing intervention for children with severe pneumonia is more obvious than routine nursing care.
