Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of therapeutic communication based on diversified nursing needs in the treatment of patients with urinary system diseases complicated with diabetes mellitus. Methods:480 patients with urinary system diseases complicated with diabetes mellitus(treated from March 2014 to June 2015)were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group (240 cases in each group). The patients in the control group received routine nursing care and the patients in the experimental group were provided therapeutic communication based on diversified nursing needs,the each observation index was compared between the two groups after the intervention. Results:There were statistically significant differences in the comparison of the scores of mental state and nursing needs of the patients,the effect of nursing intervention and social support between the two groups(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion:Application of therapeutic communication based on diversified nursing needs can significantly improve the patientˊs mental state and social support and reduce the occurrence of complications in the treatment of patients with urinary system diseases complicated with diabetes mellitus.
