Effect of moduIar nursing on Iung function and quaIity of Iife in postoperative patients after radicaI surgery of Iung cancer

Abstract:Objective:Toexploretheeffectofmodularnursingonlungfunctionandqualityoflifeinpostoperativepatientsafterradical surgery of lung cancer. Methods:84 patients undergoing radical surgery of lung cancer were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(42 cases in each group). The patients in the control group were given routine nursing care in the respiratory department of internal medicine during hospitalization and the patients in the observation group were additionally provided modular nursing interven-tion,the lung function and quality of life of the postoperative patients were compared between the two groups. Results:The improvement of FEV1,FVC and FVC% in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group after the intervention(P﹤0. 05);the scores of material life,physical function,social function,psychological function and quality of life of the postoperative patients in the ob-servation group were significantly higher than those in the control group after the intervention(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion:Application of modu-lar nursing can effectively improve pulmonary function recovery of the postoperative patients and improve their quality of life.
