AnaIysis of the correIation between the psychoIogicaI resiIience and seIf-efficacy of AMI patients after PCI therapy

Abstract:Objective:Toinvestigatethecurrentstatusofthepsychologicalresilienceandself-efficacyofpatientswithacutemyocardi-al infarction( AMI)after percutaneous coronary intervention( PCI)and to analyze the correlation between them. Methods:The mental re-silience scale and general self-efficiency scale were used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 229 hospitalized AMI patients undergoing PCI in 3 hospitals at the level of grade III-A. Results:There were statistically significant differences in the comparison of the total score of the psychological resilience and the scores of the dimension of optimism,strength and toughness between the patients who had different number of times of hospitalization(P﹤0. 05). The self-efficacy of the patients was positively correlated with the dimension of optimism, strength and toughness of the psychological resilience and the total score of the psychological resilience. Conclusion:The number of times of hospitalization might influence the patientˊs level of resilience,thus the patientˊs psychological status should be paid attention to through a variety of ways during hospitalization in order to improve patientˊs confidence to overcome the disease.
