Application of nursing intervention combined with auricular acupressure therapy in patients with hepatitis B

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of nursing intervention combined with auricular acupressure therapy in patients with hep-atitis B. Methods:158 patients with chronic hepatitis B were randomly divided into the observation group(n = 80)and the control group (n = 78). The patients in both groups were treated with hepatoprotective drug and auricular acupressure therapy,the patients in the control group were given routine nursing care and the patients in the observation group were provided the targeted nursing intervention,and then the anxiety,sleep quality,liver function and quality of life of the patients were compared between the two groups. Results:The anxiety,sleep quality and the improvement of the liver function of the patients were better in the observation group than those in the control group(P <0. 05);the scores of quality of life(SF - 36)of the patients were higher in the observation group than the control group(P < 0. 05). Con-clusion:The targeted nursing intervention combined with auricular acupressure therapy can effectively relieve anxiety and improve the sleep quality and quality of life of the patients with hepatitis B.
