lnfluence of DoCare bedside monitoring system on the quality of nursing documents
Abstract：Objective:To explore the influence of DoCare bedside monitoring system on the quality of nursing documents. Methods:336 handwritten nursing record sheets selected from March 2012 to February 2013 were taken as the control group and other 364 electronic nursing record sheets selected from October 2013 to September 2014 since the Docare bedside monitoring system had been used were taken as the experimental group,the quality of nursing documents was compared between the two groups. Results:The total score of the question-naire in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(P < 0. 05);the nursing staff of 92. 3% thought DoCare system can save the time of nursing staff,nursing staff of 43. 6% cannot be sure that DoCare system whether to save paper or not,the time of nursing staff to revise nursing documents was shortened by 1 to 2 hours when they used DoCare bedside monitoring system. Conclusion:The DoCare bedside monitoring system can significantly improve the quality of nursing documents,reduce the workload of nurses and save nursing time.
