Analysis on the cognitive status of stroke - related knowledge in stroke patients and caregivers and demands for nursing rehabilitation
Abstract：Objective:To analyze the cognitive status of stroke - related knowledge in stroke patients and caregivers and demands for nursing rehabilitation. Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the basic personal information,cognition and awareness of stroke - related knowledge and their demands for nursing rehabilitation of 90 stroke patients and 110 caregivers. Results:The female car-egivers accounted for 62. 7% in all caregivers for stroke patients,and most of them were middle - aged and elderly women,spouse accoun-ted for 36. 4% and children accounted for 34. 5% in the caregivers;most stroke patients and caregivers lacked of stroke - related knowl-edge,and they had more demands for the knowledge of prevention and first - aid of stroke and guidance on rehabilitation training. Conclu-sion:The health education should be strengthened in stroke patients and caregivers so as to meet their needs for the knowledge of nursing rehabilitation.
