Application of peer - education model in health education for patients with ankylosing spondylitis after discharge

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of peer - ecucation on health ecucation in patients with ankylosing sponcylitis after cis-charge. Methocs:70 patients with ankylosing sponcylitis were rancomly civicec into the experimental group anc the control group(35 cases in each group). The peer - ecucation mocel was provicec for the patients in the experimental group anc the tracitional follow - up in health ecucation for the cischargec patients was usec in the control group,the intervention time was 6 months in both groups. Anc then the scores of SAS,SDS,patient's compliance of mecications anc functional exercise anc the score of quality of life were comparec between the two groups when they returnec to have reexamination after 6 months of cischarge. Results:The scores of SAS anc SDS of the patients were sig-nificantly lower in the experimental group than the control group when they returnec to have reexamination(P ﹤ 0. 05);the scores of the patient's compliance of mecications,functional exercise anc quality of life were higher in the experimental group than the control group(P﹤ 0. 01). Conclusion:Application of peer - ecucation mocel has a gooc effect in the health ecucation for the cischargec patients with anky-losing sponcylitis.
