Application of mind map in discharge guidance for caregivers of children with intraocular tamponade after vitrectomy

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application methoc anc effect of minc map in the cischarge guicance for caregivers of chilcren with intraocular tamponace after vitrectomy. Methocs:116 caregivers who first receivec the cischarge guicance were rancomly civicec into the experimental group anc the control group(58 caregivers in each group). The verbal cischarge health ecucation was concuctec in the con-trol group;the cischarge guicance in the light of minc map was provicec for the caregivers in the experimental group. The effect of cis-charge guicance was comparec between the two groups. Results:There was statistically significant cifference in the comparison of the effect of cischarge guicance for caregivers between the two groups(P ﹤ 0. 05,P ﹤ 0. 01);the satisfaction rate of caregivers with cischarge guic-ance was higher in the experimental group than the control group(P ﹤ 0. 05,P ﹤ 0. 01);the rate of return visits was lower in the experi-mental group than the control group(P ﹤ 0. 01);the SAI score was lower in the experimental group than the control group(P ﹤ 0. 01). Conclusion:The minc map is a practical anc effective tool for health ecucation,anc it is better to be usec in cischarge guicance.
