Application of psychological nursing intervention to family members of patients with identification of mental injury
Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of applying psychological nursing intervention in the family members of patients with i-dentification of mental injury. Methods:124 family members of patients with identification of mental injury were divided into the observation group(n = 63)and the control group(n = 61)according to the order of accepting the case. The family members in the observation group received one to one psychological nursing intervention and the family members in the control group received routine nursing intervention, the scores of SCL - 90,SAS and SDS were compared between the two groups before the intervention and in the 4th week after the interven-tion. Results:The total score of SCL - 90 and the total score of SAS and SDS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after the intervention(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:The timely and appropriate psychological nursing intervention can effectively reduce the anxiety and depression of the family members of patients with identification of mental injury.
