Effect of systematic nursing intervention on the adverse psychology,treatment compliance and quality of life of patients with DR

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of systematic nursing intervention on the adverse psychology,treatment compliance and qual-ity of life of patients with diabetic retinopathy(DR). Methods:45 patients with DR treated from May 2013 to April 2014 were taken as the control group;other 45 DR patients treated from May 2014 to April 2015 were taken as the observation group. The patients in the control group received routine nursing care and the patients in the observation group were provided the systematic nursing intervention,the adverse psychology,treatment compliance and quality of life of the patients were compared between the two groups. Results:The SAS and SDS scores of the patients were lower after the intervention than those before the intervention in the observation group and the scores in the ob-servation group were lower than the control group after the intervention(P < 0. 05);the total compliance rate of the patients was higher in the observation group than that in the control group after the intervention(P < 0. 05);the scores of quality of life of the patients in the ob-servation group were higher after the intervention than those before the intervention and than the control group after the intervention(P <0. 05). Conclusion:The systematic nursing intervention can change the bad psychology of DR patients so as to improve their treatment com-pliance and quality of life.
