Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of health education model based on clinical path on compliance behavior of the young and middle - aged discharged patients with coronary heart disease(CHD). Methods:138 patients were divided into the observation group(n =68)and the control group(n = 70). The cognitive education in hospital, health guidance before discharge and re - examination after dis-charge were implemented in the control group;the health education model based on clinical path was used to conduct nursing intervention in the observation group. The readmission rate, fatality rate and compliance behavior of the patients were compared between the two groups after 6 months of the intervention. Results:The readmission rate was lower in the observation group than that in the control group after 6 months of the intervention(P < 0. 05);the difference in the comparison of compliance behavior of the patients was statistically significant between the two groups(P < 0. 05,P < 0. 01). Conclusion:Application of health education model based on clinical path can effectively re-duce the readmission rate of young and middle - aged patients with CHD within 6 months and can improve the compliance behavior of the patients.
