Abstract:Objective:To explore the application method and effect of the integrated nursing model in the prevention of deep venous thrombosis( DVT)of lower extremity after cesarean section. Methods:55 puerperae undergoing cesarean section from March 2012 to May 2013 were taken as the control group and the patients in this group were given routine nursing care after operation;other 61 puerperae from June 2013 to July 2014 were taken as the observation group and the patients in this group were provided the integrated nursing model. The incidence of postoperative DVT of lower extremity, swelling and pain and pulmonary embolism, the average length of stay in hospital and the satisfaction rate of nursing care were compared between the two groups. Results:The incidence of postoperative DVT of lower extremi-ty,swelling and pain and pulmonary embolism in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P﹤0. 05);the average length of stay in hospital was significantly shorter in the observation group than the control group(P﹤0. 05);the satisfaction rate of nursing care was significantly higher in the observation group than the control group(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion:Application of the in-tegrated nursing model can improve puerpera satisfaction, shorten hospitalization time and reduce the incidence of DVT of the lower ex-tremity of the puerperae.
