Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in the prevention of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) in patients with spinal trauma after operation.Methods:108 patients with spinal trauma (treated from March 2013 to March 2015) were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (54 cases in each group). The routine nursing care was taken in the control group and the comprehensive nursing intervention was additionally implemented in the observation group. The laboratory test index, clinical effect and the length of stay in hospital were compared between the two groups. Results:The test indicators were improved in both groups after nursing intervention and they were significantly better in the observation group than the control group (P <0.01);the incidence of pain and swelling,DVT of lower extremity and pulmonary embolism was significantly lower in the observation group than the control group (P < 0.01);the average length of stay in hospital was significantly shorter in the observation group than the control group (P < 0.01).Conclusion:The comprehensive nursing intervention on patients with spinal trauma operation can effectively reduce the incidence of DVT,promote the recovery of the patients and shorten the length of hospital stay.
