Effect of rehabilitation nursing on patients with lumbar vertebral compression fractures

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of rehabilitation nursing on patients with lumbar vertebral compression fractures.Methods:120 patients with lumbar vertebral compression fractures were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group (60 cases in each group).The patients in the control group received routine nursing care after operation;the patients in the observation group were provided extra staged rehabilitation nursing.The ADL scale and OLBPDQ scale were used to evaluate the patient's conditions and the improvement of lumbar function.Results:The improvement of lumbar function of the patients was significantly better in the observation group than that in the control group (P < 0.05);the ADL score was significantly higher in the observation group than the control group after 6 months of nursing care (P < 0.05);the scores of physiology,psychology,independence,environment and social relations were significantly higher in the observation group than the control group after 6 months of nursing care (P < 0.05);the length of stay in hospital was significantly shorter in the observation group than the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion:Application of rehabilitation nursing can relieve the clinical symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients with lumbar vertebral compression fractures.
