Abstract:Objective:To investigate the application effect of continuous quality improvement in nursing care of patients with articular cartilage injury of knee joint. Methods:84 patients with articular cartilage injury of knee joint(selected from Oct. 2012 to Oct. 2014)were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(42 cases in each group). The routine nursing care was taken in the con-trol group and the continuous quality improvement was implemented in the observation group. The exercise compliance, the total effective rate, satisfaction rate and pain and swelling of hip joint and joint function recovery of the patients were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results:The compliance rate of exercise, the total effective rate and satisfaction rate were higher in the obser-vation group than the control group(P < 0. 05);the incidence of complications was lower in the observation group than the control group (P < 0. 05);the scores of VAS and hip joint swelling were lower in the observation group than the control group after intervention(P < 0. 05);the scores of AKS,OKS and WOMAC were lower in the observation group than the control group after 3 months of intervention(P <0. 05). Conclusion:Application of continuous quality improvement can effectively improve the compliance of patients with knee joint frac-ture,relieve postoperative pain and swelling, promote the recovery of knee joint function and improve self - care ability of the patients.
