Effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on patients with dysphagia after stroke

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on patients with dysphagia after stroke.Methods:120 patients with dysphagia after stroke were randomly divided into the comprehensive nursing group and the routine nursing group (60 ca-ses in each group).The patients in the routine nursing group were given routine treatment and nursing care and the patients in the compre-hensive nursing group were additionally given comprehensive nursing intervention.The treatment effect,satisfaction rate of nursing care and incidence of adverse prognosis were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of treatment and satisfaction rate of nursing care were higher in the comprehensive nursing group than those in the routine nursing group (P <0.05);the rate of aspiration,in-fection and mortality was lower in the comprehensive nursing group than the routine nursing group (P <0.05).Conclusion:Implementation of comprehensive nursing intervention can improve the swallowing function and prognosis of patients with dysphagia after stroke.
