Effect of "remote care"nursing model on the treatment compliance and treatment efficacy in patients with pulmonary TB

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of "remote care"nursing model on the treatment compliance and treatment efficacy in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB).Methods:76 patients with pulmonary TB were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (38 cases in each group).The patients in the control group received the routine nursing care and the patients in the ob-servation group were additionally given "remote care",the sputum negative conversion rate,treatment compliance and immune function of the patients were compared between the two groups.Results:The sputum negative conversion rate at each time point was significantly higher in the observation group than the control group (P <0.05);the compliance of medication,health education and reexamination after dis-charge of the patients was significantly higher in the observation group than the control group (P <0.05);the level of CD3 +,CD4 +, CD4 +/CD8 + was higher in the observation group than the control group (P <0.05)and the level of CD8 + was lower than the control group (P <0.05).Conclusion:The "remote care"nursing model can improve the treatment efficacy and the immune function of patients with pulmonary TB and can also improve their treatment compliance.
