Analysis of the effect of holistic nursing intervention in the treatment of 32 patients with thoracolumbar fractures by applying posterior pedicle screw system
Abstract：Objective:To analyze the effect of holistic nursing intervention in the treatment of thoracolumbar fractures by applying poste-rior pedicle screw system. Methods:64 patients with thoracolumbar fractures were randomly divided into the observation group and the con-trol group(32 cases in each group). The holistic nursing intervention was adopted in the observation group and the routine nursing inter-vention was conducted in the control group,the scores of SAS,SDS and ADL,the incidence of postoperative complications and patient satis-faction were observed in the two groups. Results:The SAS and SDS scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P <0. 01);the incidence of postoperative complications was lower in the observation group than the control group(P < 0. 05);the ADL score and the patient satisfaction were significantly higher in the observation group than the control group(P < 0. 05). Con-clusion:The holistic nursing intervention can not only improve the mental health status of the patients,but also promote the restoration of ADL and improve the quality of life of the patients treated with posterior pedicle screw system for thoracolumbar fractures.
