Effect of puerpera - family - nurse interactive nursing model on the postpartum conditions of puerperae in the community

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of puerpera - family - nurse interactive nursing model on the postpartum conditions of pu-erperae in the community. Methods:120 puerperae in the community(from June 2012 to May 2013)were taken as the control group and they were given routine community care;other 120 puerperae in the community(from June 2013 to May 2014)were taken as the observa-tion group and the puerpera - family - nurse interactive nursing model was implemented in this group. The breast distending pain of puer-perae was compared between the two groups after one day and 5 days of childbirth. The SAS and SDS were used to assess the psychological status of the puerperae in the two groups on the right day of admission and on the 15th and 42nd day after childbirth. Results:The VSA score of breast of the puerperae from 2 to 5 days after childbirth was lower in the observation group than the control group(P < 0. 01);the SAS and SDS scores on the 15th and 42nd day after childbirth were significantly lower in the observation group than those in the control group(P < 0. 01). Conclusion:Implementation of puerpera - family - nurse interactive nursing model in the community can have puerperae better adapt to the changing of role and can effectively alleviate breast distending pain and improve the postpartum psychological status of puerperae.
