Application of PDCA cycle to improving the quality control of hospital cleaning
Abstract：Objective:To investigate the application effect of PDCA cycle in improving the quality control of hospital cleaning. Methods:The management was strictly implemented to cleaning work of 60 cleaners according to PDCA cycle in a certain hospital at the level of grade III class A in Jiangxi province so as to develop reasonable working plan according to the current status of management in quality con-trol of the cleaning work. The effect of quality control on hospital cleaning was evaluated before and after the implementation of PDCA cy-cle. Results:The cleaners′ awareness of the knowledge of disinfection and isolation,the scores of cleaning quality,the up - to - standard rate of microbial monitoring on the surface of the object and the hands of cleaners and the satisfaction of the patients with cleaning work were significantly higher after the implementation of PDCA cycle management than those before its implementation(P < 0. 01). Conclu-sion:Application of PDCA cycle in the hospital cleaning work can effectively improve the cleaning quality of hospital.
