Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on the treatment effect and icteric index in the treatment of neonatal jaundice. Methods:80 newborn with neonatal jaundice were randomly divided into the observation group and the con-trol group(40 cases in each group). The newborn in the control group were given routine nursing care and the newborn in the observation group were additionally given comprehensive nursing intervention. The clinical treatment effect and icteric index were compared between the two groups. Results:The effective rate of the treatment was higher in the observation group than the control group(P ﹤ 0. 05);there was statistically significant difference in the comparison of icteric index on the 1st,3rd and 6th day between the two groups(P ﹤ 0. 05);the time of first defecation and subsiding time of jaundice of the newborn was superior in the observation group to the control group(P ﹤0. 05).
