Application of whole course nursing intervention in the treatment of asthma in school age children with oxygen - driven atomizing inhalation

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of applying whole course nursing intervention in the treatment of asthma in school age children with oxygen - driven atomizing inhalation. Methods:120 children with asthma treated with oxygen - driven atomizing inhalation were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(60 cases in each group). The whole course nursing intervention was implemented in the observation group and the routine nursing intervention was conducted in the control group. The vital signs,symptom score,treatment compliance and treatment effect were compared between the two groups. Results:The improvement of the patients was bet-ter in the intervention group and the blood oxygen saturation,heart rate,respiratory and the symptom scores at daytime and night time were superior to those of the control group after the intervention(P ﹤ 0. 05);the compliance rate and the total effective rate were higher in the observation group than those in the control group(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion:Application of whole course nursing intervention in the treatment of asthma in school age children with oxygen - driven atomizing inhalation can improve their vital signs and clinical symptoms and the treatment compliance as well.
