Effect of comprehensive nursing management on the improvement of treatment compliance and quality of life in patients with chronic heart failure

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of comprehensive nursing management on the improvement of treatment compliance and quality of life in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF). Methods:48 patients with CHF receiving comprehensive nursing management from August 2013 to August 2014 were taken as the intervention group and other 48 patients with CHF receiving routine nursing care from August 2012 to July 2013 were taken as the control group. The quality of life and treatment compliance of the patients were evaluated by u-sing MLHFQ in the two groups before and after nursing care. Results:There were statistically significant differences in the comparison of the scores of symptoms,physical activity and emotion of dimensions between the two groups after the intervention(P ﹤ 0. 05,P ﹤ 0. 01);the treatment compliance of the patients was significantly better in the intervention group than the control group(P ﹤ 0. 05,P ﹤ 0. 01). Conclusion:The comprehensive nursing management can significantly improve the quality of life and treatment compliance of patients with CHF so as to improve the treatment effect.
