Abstract:Objective:To probe into the risk factors of postoperative complications and nursing countermeasures after total hip replace-ment. Methods:A case - control study was conducted to analyze the postoperative complications of 120 patients who underwent total hip re-placement from Jan. 2009 to Dec. 2013 and these patients were taken as the case - control study group;other 120 patients without postoper-ative complications were selected as the control group. Results:The univariate analysis revealed that 13 factors had something to do with postoperative complications, including operation time, intraoperative bleeding loss, hospitalization time, age, usage of antibiotics, length of stay in ICU,long - term usage of hormone, improper transit after operation,BMI index, hypertension, diabetes mellitus and infection, etc. ;the result of multivariate analysis showed that age, usage of antibiotics, hospitalization time, long - term usage of hormone and diabetes were related to infection(P ﹤ 0. 05);age,blood transfusion, hospitalization time, operation time and history of hip joint surgery were related to low extremity venous thrombosis(P ﹤ 0. 05);improper transit after operation, age, hospitalization time and operation time were related to dislocation of hip joint(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion:In view of the postoperative complications of total hip replacement, the medical staff should strengthen the observation and nursing care after operation and develop targeted treatment and nursing measures according to the risk fac-tors so as to improve the clinical cure rate.
