Application and effect evaluation of comfort nursing in patients with OHSS

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application method and effect of comfort nursing in the treatment of patients with ovarian hyper -stimulation syndrome(OHSS). Methods:199 patients with OHSS were randomly divided into the observation group(n = 103)and the con-trol group(n = 93). The patients in the control group received routine nursing care and the patients in the observation group received com-fort nursing. The hospitalization time and satisfaction rate of nursing service was compared between the two groups. Results:The satisfaction rate of nursing care was 96. 12% in the observation group and 85. 42% in the control group(P ﹤ 0. 05);the average length of hospital stay was shorter in the observation group than the control group(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion:The comfort nursing applied to OHSS patients can ef-fectively improve patient satisfaction,ease their psychological pressure and promote the recovery of the patients.
