Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of emergency nursing on quality of life in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods:276 patients with AMI were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(138 cases in each group). The patients in the control group received routine nursing care and the patients in the observation group were given extra emergen-cy nursing. SAQ was used to observe and compare the scores of quality of life of the patients in the two groups at discharge and at the time of review respectively. Results:The scores of SAQ in the observation group were improved at the time of review compared with those at dis-charge(P ﹥ 0. 05);the scores of attack and stability of angina pectoris slightly improved in the control group at the time of review com-pared with those at discharge(P ﹤ 0. 05);the scores of physical movement limitation and awareness of the diseases of the patients were significantly higher in the observation group than those in the control group at discharge and at the time of review(P ﹤ 0. 05);the patient's satisfaction with the treatment was higher in the observation group than that in the control group(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion:The implemen-tation of emergency nursing can effectively improve the quality of life of patients with AMI,ease the psychological and physical discomfort and promote the rehabilitation of the patients.
